Gene Lab has specialised in the diagnosis of genetic and inherited conditions since 2002, under the supervision of consultants, specialists and laboratory technicians.
The laboratory’s services include genetic counselling, DNA and chromosome testing, newborn genetic screening, diagnosis of fetal conditions and inherited metabolic disease testing.
The laboratory is supervised by Prof. Ikram Fattin and Prof. Amr Gouda, specialists in biochemical genetics at the National Research Centre.
